Red

Site Specific Theatrical Production
To create a greater sense of initimacy and involvement with the audience, I staged RED in an actual painting studio.

I created a Voyeur Point of View for the audience by framing the play with canvas stretchers, which the actors treated as a solid, real painting. 

Further intimacy and connection was created by limiting the audience to 20 people and seating them within five-ten feet of the actors.

This production would not have been possible in a traditional theatre.
